Today morning i had a bizarre experience with Google. I was checking position of http://www.notabledesign.com on Google for graphic design Montreal and result really left me astounded. With Firefox it was at #1 but with internet explorer it’s at #17.
I thought it might be happened because of cookies or session . I deleted all the stored cookies and everything in history but surprisingly i am getting again the same result.
I read same kind of question in some SEO forums and responders were saying that it might be because of different data centers of google but franking speaking, I don’t think so. I don’t know whether i am getting crazy or is there something wrong with browsers or search engine.
Aaahhhh! Need to dig into in

Since last couple of days, We are looking for a new SEO domain, Which fulfill all the major SEO criteria(At least most of them). I mean,Aged domain with good pagerank and reasonable amount of back links and keywords in domain name. I guess i am sounding too much greedy, Isn’t it?
But it was my terribly hard luck that i didn’t find any suitable match.I have never realized before that there are so many SEO experts on planet. Anyways, I wanna ask a question to all of you. If i need to compromise between domain age and keywords in name, With whom should i go. domain age or keyword? I understand both are an important factors(along with hundreds of other factors) in search engines search algorithm but which has the higher weightage?

Yesterday one friend of mine was asking about importance of Sitemap in search engine optimization, According to my opinion, Sitemap is not mandatory for any website but it’s good to have one in order to have safe and complete crawling. Actually it’s a matter of page depth in root directory and dynamic content , sometimes crawlers fail to crawl the pages due to high page depth or dynamic content (such as pages with heavily RIA elements). That’s why, in order to get all the pages crawled , sitemap is needed. Google and other search engines adheres to sitemap protocol 0.9 (defined by sitemaps.org).

Good morning everybody!
Last night, i was analyzing some meta tags with some web analyzer, strangely, i was shown a red flag saying “you have poison keywords in your meta tag”. Actually they have categorized “search engine” and “forum ” as poison keywords, i am sure they have many more keywords in this category. I am still wondering if there really exist such thing in search engine optimization or just another myth.
